It is with great pleasure and excitement that the ANAC presents the
21st International Aerobic Championship, 13th International Youth
Aerobic Championship, 6th World Junior Aerobic Showcase and the FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA. The ANAC is bringing the world famous
events back to Las Vegas for a third year to a magnificent family
resort guaranteed to provide a wonderful holiday experience during the
time athletes are not competing.
All ANAC and FIG athletes who wish to participate in the 21st International Aerobic Championship, 13th International Youth Aerobic Championship and 6th World Junior Aerobic Showcase must qualify/register
with the ANAC affiliate in their country. If there isn't
an ANAC affiliate within a country an athlete may request an open
invitation by contacting ANAC headquarters directly.
The 21st International Aerobic Championship
The 21st International Aerobic Championship celebrates two decades as the longest running aerobic competition in the world.
The 13th International Youth Aerobic Championship
The 13th International Youth Aerobic Championship provides a world class competition for youth within the AG1 and AG2 divisions.
The 6th World Junior Aerobic Showcase
The World Junior Aerobic Showcase offers junior athletes from 8 – 11
years old the chance for sporting experience and athlete recognition.
The FIG rules for national development will be utilized for all
participants showcasing their 1 minute and fifteen seconds (1:15)
routine in the categories of individuals (co-ed), mixed pairs, trios and groups (6
members).
The 4th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA
The ANAC is proud to host the FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA in conjunction with
the 2010 International Aerobic Championship July 19 - 24.
Athletes interested in participating in this event must register through the FIG
affiliate within their country.

The ANAC has selected the Red Rock Resort as the headquarters for the 21st International Aerobic Championship, 13th International Youth
Aerobic Championship, 6th World Junior Aerobic Showcase and its the 4th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA and strongly recommends that participants and their delegations stay at the Red Rock Resort for peace of mind and convenient access to all competition venues located on site within the hotel. Helpful Tips when making Reservations
If you make your reservation by phone you must inform the hotel you want the "Championship Rate". Make your reservations as soon as possible as the hotels will sell out. The hotels will honor the reduced rates until July 1 (cut-off date). After the "cut-off date" room rates may increase. Please do not wait until the cut -off date – last year the hotels sold out weeks before this date. Please contact Championship Headquarters if you need assistance in making or confirming your reservations.
Event Locations & Training
All events will be conducted in the Red Rock Resort. Areas for training will be available within the Red Rock Resort beginning Sunday, July 18.
Event Tickets
Each participating athlete in the International Aerobic Championship, Youth International Aerobic Championship, Junior Showcase and FIG World Series USA will receive free entry into to all aerobic gymnastic events. Event tickets are on sale for all additional members of a delegation and accompanying family and friends. Airport Transportation & Rental Cars
Airport Transportation -
The Las Vegas McCarran Airport is located approximately 15 miles from the Red Rock Resort. The Red Rock Resort offers limited complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for hotel guests (individuals and small groups only). Contact the Red Rock Resort for shuttle schedules. Transportation is also available by taxi. The cost by taxi is approximately $48 one way. It is recommended that you request a taxi van for up to 5 individuals and share the cost.
Airport Transportation - Group/Bus - Discounted Rates
Groups up to 20 people can reserve (in advance) a mini bus for $150 plus driver gratuity. Larger groups can reserve (in advance) a bus which seats up to 57 passengers for $345 plus driver gratuity. Transportation to the Las Vegas Strip Hotels, Casinos and Shopping
The Red Rock Resort provides hotel guests free shuttle bus service throughout the day to and from the hotel to the Fashion Show Shopping Mall located in the center of the famous Las Vegas Strip.
Prizes and Awards
Through a generous grant from Ann McVety all Gold medallists in the Women’s, Men’s, Mixed Pairs and Trios divisions of the International Aerobic Championship will receive US$500, all silver medallists will receive US$250 and all bronze medallists will receive US$125. First, second and third place athletes in the International Aerobic Championship Group division will receive the following amounts in cash (to be divided among the group):1st Place: $900 2nd Place: $600 3rd Place: $300
Winners of the FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA will receive cash prizes as specified in the rules for Class B events.
First, second and third place athletes in the International Youth Aerobic Championship and World Junior Aerobic Showcase participants will receive medals, trophies, patches and/or prizes from participating sponsors.
Technical Regulations - FIG Code of Points
The 2010 International Aerobic Championship, International Youth Aerobic Championship, World Junior Aerobic Showcase and FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA will use the FIG Code of Points. The FIG Code of Points may be downloaded by clicking on rules and regulations (on this website).
Semifinal and Final Round of Competition – Important notice
The eight highest scoring entries from each category of the preliminaries of the International Aerobic Championship will advance to the semifinal round (adult only). In all categories and divisions for youth and adult not more than two entries from each country can advance into the final round of competition. The two entries with the highest scores will advance. Defending gold medallists automatically advance to the final round of competition leaving only one additional position for a representative from the same country within that division of competition.
Judging Panel
It is mandatory for all countries participating in the International Aerobic Championship or International Youth Aerobic Championship to nominate and send a FIG breveted judge to the international championships.
Judging System - FIG Code of Points
The 2010 International Aerobic Championship, International Youth Aerobic Championship, World Junior Aerobic Showcase and FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Series USA will use the FIG Code of Points. The FIG Code of Points may be downloaded from the FIG website – www.fig-gymnastics.org.
Insurance
The ANAC declines any responsibility and liability in the event of illness and/or accident of participants. The participants are responsible for arranging insurance at their own expense. Opening Ceremonies – March of Nations
It is the responsibility of each participating delegation to bring an official flag of their country and a CD of their National Anthem for the opening march of nations and final awards ceremony. It is mandatory for all athletes to participate in the march of nations.
Official Invitation for United States Visa
Requests for an ANAC official invitation intended to accompany USA visa applications should be requested by April 1. The request must include the name of each member of the delegation (spelled exactly as it appears on the passport), their passport number and date of birth. Notify the ANAC when an interview date is confirmed with the US Embassy. An official letter will then be sent from USA Congressman Henry Waxman directly to the US Embassy in your country with a copy to you. The invitation letters are only effective when there is ample time for the US Embassy to process this request. Please start the process early enough to assure favorable results.

We recommend all participants to invite credentialed media to attend and/or cover all championship events.
