23rd International Aerobic Championship and 15th International Youth Aerobic Championship - July 24-28, 2012
It is with great pleasure that the ANAC presents the 23rd International Aerobic Championship and15th International Youth Aerobic Championship. We are bringing these world famous events back to Las Vegas for a fifth year. The host headquarters and venue for the championships is the Red Rock Resort which is guaranteed to provide a wonderful holiday experience when not competing.

All ANAC and FIG athletes who wish to participate must qualify/register with the ANAC affiliate in their country. If there isn't an ANAC affiliate within a country an athlete may request an open invitation by contacting ANAC headquarters directly nacusa@aol.com or call - 323.850.3777

The 23rd International Aerobic Championship
The 23rd International Aerobic Championship celebrates over two decades as the longest running aerobic competition in the world. The FIG rules for national development will be utilized for all participants showcasing their routines in the categories of individuals (co-ed), mixed pairs, trios and groups (6 members) and AeroDance (5-10 members).
 
The 15th International Youth Aerobic Championship
The 15th International Youth Aerobic Championship provides a world class competition for youth within the AG1 (12-14 years), AG2 (15-17 years) and Junior Showcase (8-11 years) divisions. The FIG rules for national development will be utilized for all participants showcasing their routines in the categories of individuals (co-ed), mixed pairs, trios and groups (6 members) and AeroDance (5-10 members).

AeroDance Division
Coming off its successful introduction last year is the ANAC's AeroDance division. AeroDance consists of groups of 5-10 athletes in Junior (7-12 years), Varsity (13-17 years), and Senior (18 years and above) divisions and is conducted with more focus on dance and performance. The elements allowed in AeroDance have less maximum difficulty than in other events within the IAC. Rules are as specified in the FIG Code of points with ANAC modifications.

The ANAC has selected the Red Rock Resort as the headquarters for the 23rd International Aerobic Championship and 15th International Youth Aerobic Championship and strongly recommends that participants and their delegations stay at the Red Rock Resort for peace of mind and convenient access to all competition venues located on site within the hotel. Red Rock Resort provides hotel guests complimentary shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip and the McCarran Int'l Airport (individuals & small groups only).

When not participating or watching championship events the Red Rock Resort offers guests incredible amenities including a beautiful spa and fitness center, 16 movie theaters, 70 lanes of bowling, an arcade, trendy nightclub, and a kid's club (with childcare services) or you can walk, bike or horseback ride in the Red Rocks just minutes away. Helpful Tips when making Reservations
If you make your reservation by phone you must inform the hotel you want the "Championship Rate". Make your reservations as soon as possible as the hotels will sell out. The hotels will honor the reduced rates until July 1 (cut-off date). After the "cut-off date" room rates may increase. Please do not wait until the "cut off date" last year the hotels sold out weeks before this date. Please contact Championship Headquarters if you need assistance in making or confirming your reservations.

Event Locations & Training
All events will be conducted in the Red Rock Resort. Areas for training will be available within the Red Rock Resort beginning Monday, July, 23.

Event Tickets
Each participating athlete in the International Aerobic Championship and International Youth Aerobic Championship will receive free entry into to all aerobic gymnastic events. Event tickets are on sale for all additional members of a delegation and accompanying family and friends. Airport Transportation & Rental Cars

Airport Transportation -
The Las Vegas McCarran Airport is located approximately 15 miles from the Red Rock Resort. The Red Rock Resort offers limited complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for hotel guests (individuals and small groups only). Contact the Red Rock Resort for shuttle schedules. Transportation is also available by taxi. The cost by taxi is approximately $48 one way. It is recommended that you request a taxi van for up to 5 individuals and share the cost.

Airport Transportation - Group/Bus - Discounted Rates
Groups up to 24 people can reserve (in advance) a mini bus for $84 or groups of 30 people for $114 (tax & tip included) by contacting Bell Trans: reservations@BellTransportation.com, 800-274-7433 (US only) or 702-739-7990. To receive these discounted rates you must provide the special ANAC discount code: CHAMPS. Transportation to the Las Vegas Strip, shopping, sightseeing, etc. can also be reserved through Bell Trans at discounted prices by providing the special code: CHAMPS.

Budget Rent a Car of Las Vegas has been selected by the ANAC as the official rental car/van supplier for the Championships. Special discounted daily or weekly car/van rentals are available at any time from anywhere in Las Vegas to all Championship participants and spectators through the official Championship Car Rental company, Budget Rent a Car of Las Vegas.

Transportation to the Las Vegas Strip Hotels, Casinos and Shopping
The Red Rock Resort provides hotel guests free shuttle bus service throughout the day to and from the hotel to the Fashion Show Shopping Mall located in the center of the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Prizes and Awards
All Gold medalists in the Women's, Men's, Mixed Pairs and Trios divisions of the International Aerobic Championship will receive US$500, all silver medalists will receive US$250 and all bronze medalists will receive US$125. First, second and third place athletes in the International Aerobic Championship Group division will receive the following amounts in cash (to be divided among the group):1st Place: $600 2nd Place: $400 3rd Place: $200. A minimum of four countries must participate (within the division) in order for cash prizes to be awarded.

First, second and third place athletes in the International Youth Aerobic Championship will receive medals, trophies, patches and/or prizes from participating sponsors.

Technical Regulations - FIG Code of Points
The 2012 International Aerobic Championship and International Youth Aerobic Championship will use the FIG Code of Points. The FIG Code of Points may be downloaded by clicking on rules and regulations (on this website). The FIG Code of Points may also be downloaded from the FIG website - www.fig-gymnastics.org. The AeroDance category will use the FIG Code of Points with ANAC modifications.

Official Invitation for United States Visa
Requests for an ANAC official invitation intended to accompany USA visa applications should be requested by April 1. The request must include the name of each member of the delegation (spelled exactly as it appears on the passport), their passport number and date of birth. Notify the ANAC when an interview date is confirmed with the US Embassy. An official letter will then be sent from USA Congressman Henry Waxman directly to the US Embassy in your country with a copy to you. The invitation letters are only effective when there is ample time for the US Embassy to process this request. Please start the process early enough to assure favorable results.
